Note
If you want to customize a section for a specific marking period, we recommend adding a course split instead.

Frequently asked questions
Creating exam-only sections
Most of the time, a section will have the same course structure as the course in the School Catalog. That is, in most cases, all sections are customized in the same way. However, sometimes sections of the same course might have different customizations, such as exam-only sections.
In heritage Imagine Edgenuity, educators can create exam-only courses from the Manage Courses page. In EdgeEX, you can create an exam-only section for either semester using customization.
When creating an exam-only section, you can:
- Hide all the content from the course structure except for the exam (and the practice exam, if you wish).
- When asked whether you want to include the hidden content in tests and exams, select all the content you want assessed (you can select it all, or you can choose specific units or lessons to be included in the exam).
