Item Description
Grades

The primary grade metric that a student's school has chosen is shown as the larger grade on the left; if a school has chosen additional metrics, they will also display:

  • Overall Grade: Weighted average of completed activities based on the grade weights for each type of activity.
  • Actual Grade: Computed just like Overall Grade, except that zeros are averaged in for unsubmitted activities that are overdue.
  • Relative Grade: Computed just like Overall Grade, except that zeros are averaged in for all activities that haven’t been submitted yet (even if they aren’t overdue).
Daily Goal Students can view how much time they should spend in the course each day, based on the time remaining. Time remaining is calculated as the total of all estimated completion times of all remaining activities.
Estimated Time Remaining

Students can view the following:

  • Estimated Time Remaining: The total of all the estimated completion times of all activities that have not yet been completed.
  • Activities Completed: The number of activities completed compared to the total number of activities.
  • Activities Remaining: The number of activities remaining to be completed compared to the total number of activities.
Course Progress

In this section, students can view the percentage of the course that is complete, along with the Start Date and Target Date.

Grades by Category Students can view their score in each activity type. They can also view how much weight each activity type is given in the total grade of the course.
