Getting a temporary password for an educator

This page is helpful when you want to change an educator's password by getting a temporary password for the educator to use. You can only do this using a single educator account at a time.

 Permission

To follow the steps listed below, you will need to have "Can Get Temporary Passwords for Educators" checked under Educator Accounts. To validate your permissions, click here.

  1. Under Account Security, select Get a Temporary Password.

  2. To continue, select Get Temporary Password.
