Proctorio Lockdown Browser student experience

When students access an assessment (quiz, test, or exam) in an EdgeEX or heritage Imagine Edgenuity course with Protorio Lockdown Browser enabled, they will need to install the extension.

Taking an assessment using Proctorio Lockdown Browser

Students will take the following steps:

1. In the Course Map, click any Quiz, Test, or Exam.
   
   
2. Click to Begin the assessment.
     
3. The Proctorio Before You Begin page displays. Read it, then scroll to the bottom of the page.
   
4.  Take any required actions listed in a red box at the bottom of the page, for example:
   
5. When the Accept button is available at the bottom of the page, click it.
   

    Success

   The student can take the assessment.

Installing the extension

If the extension has not been installed, the student will need to do the following:

1. In the Course Map, click any Quiz, Test, or Exam.
   
   
2. Click to Begin the assessment.
     
3. On the Install the Extension page that displays, click Click here to install the extension.
   
4. On the Add "Secure Exam Proctor" window, click Add Extension.
