Use this article to review the EdgeEX default permissions for teachers, school administrators, and district administrators.

Updating EdgeEX permissions

Users with permission to update the district or school default permissions can update permissions in the EdgeEX section of the permissions pages.

The following permissions apply to EdgeEX courses:

Permission	Description	Teachers	School Admins	District Admins
EdgeEX View Imagine Edgenuity Catalog	Allows user to view the Imagine Edgenuity Catalog.
EdgeEX View District Catalog	Allows user to view the District Catalog.
EdgeEX Add Courses to District	Allows user to add courses to a district.
EdgeEX Add Courses to Schools	Allows user to add courses to schools.
EdgeEX Create Sections	Allows user to create sections.
EdgeEX View All Sections in Launchpad	Allows user to view all EdgeEX sections on the Launchpad, regardless of whether they are assigned as teacher.
EdgeEX Edit Course Information and Options for All Courses and Sections	Allows user to edit course information and options for all courses and sections.
EdgeEX Edit Course Information and Options for Assigned Sections	Allows user to edit course information and options for sections assigned to them.
EdgeEX Customize Course in District Catalog	Allows user to customize courses at the District Catalog level.
EdgeEX Customize Course in School Catalog	Allows user to customize courses at the School Catalog level.
EdgeEX Customize Assigned Course Section	Allows user to customize assigned sections.
EdgeEX Transfer Enrollment to Different Section	Allows user to transfer enrollments to a different section.
