EdgeEX — Reviewing enrollment progress on the Launchpad

 Permission

To view data on the Enrollment Progress Overview on the Educator Launchpad:

  • You must be the primary or additional teacher of at least one EdgeEX section.
    or
  • You must have the View All Sections in Launchpad permission.

To take action on the Educator Launchpad, you must have the Complete Teacher Review and/or Add Retake permissions.To check your permissions, reference Checking your educator permissions.

Use this article to view the progress of your enrollments on the Educator Launchpad. The Enrollment Progress Overview allows you to quickly identify students who are furthest behind so that you can provide intervention or encouragement.  

Frequently asked questions

Who can see enrollments on the Enrollment Progress Overview widget?
Teachers can see enrollments in sections they are assigned as primary or additional teachers. Administrators can see the widget, but it will not display enrollments for users who are not teachers.
Can I sort the table on the Launchpad?
The initial widget table is not sortable. Open View All for the Quick View page, which can be filtered and sorted.
What does it look like if I don't have any enrollments?
The message “No enrollment data for your active sections right now” displays.

Viewing the Enrollment Progress Overview

  1. Access the Educator Launchpad and scroll down to view the Enrollment Progress Overview widget. The view defaults to display a list of the first five enrollments that are behind, ordered with the students furthest behind in pacing listed first. You can review each row’s student/course, actual progress relative to target, overall grade, and last-active information.

  2. You can do the following:

    If you want to view... Then...
    1. Enrollments that are behind Click the red Behind tab.
    2. Enrollments that are ahead Click the green Ahead tab.
    3. Enrollments that are on track Click the blue On Track tab.
    4. Details of one of the enrollments on the Student Progress Overview report

    Click the enrollment's row on the main Launchpad view or the View All page.

    Selecting the enrollment makes that student the Selected Student in the top navigation and opens the enrollment in the EdgeEX Student Progress Overview report, where you can view more details.
    5. All enrollments on a tab (the widget defaults to showing only the first five)

    Click View All at the bottom of the widget. A window displays with all enrollments in the category. You can filter the page and sort the columns.

    Note: Sorting by section is not currently available.
