Students are automatically granted 2 retake attempts on assessments. This means if a student does not pass the assessment at the required threshold (set at 70% by default) the first time, the student can try the assessment again.
If the student does not pass the assessment the second time, the student will be blocked from moving forward in the class and an educator will have to unlock their account. An educator can grant students additional retakes on assessments as they see fit.
