Frequently Asked Questions
What happens if I lose the access code?
The access codes are disposable and can be recreated. Simply repeat the process of creating a code.
How long is an access code good for?
The code is good for up to a year from the date that the code was created. If a teacher creates a new code for the course, students can still use the previous code until it expires. If the code expires, a new version of the course must be created via customization to produce a new code.
How many courses can be grouped with one access code?
The maximum allowed is ten courses.
What do I do with the code?
Share the code with your student(s) so they can enroll in the course.
How do Start and Target Dates work with an access code?
If the Start and Target Dates are set in the Course Edit Options, the enrollment inherits those dates. If the dates are not set in Course Edit Options, the Start and Target Date will match the date when the student joins the course with the Access Code.
What courses are not eligible for this feature?
Any course that requires a seat purchase is not eligible. Some examples are eDynamic Learning or Driver's Education courses.
