Designed for students developing academic English, the EdgeEX English Language Development 3 (ELD 3) course provides structured practice in listening, speaking, reading, and writing while helping learners build the language needed to explain ideas, describe events in detail, compare perspectives, and organize extended oral and written responses.
Through narrative and informational texts, ELD 3 supports:
- Vocabulary development
- Verb tense usage
- Transitions
- Sentence complexity
- Academic discussion skills
Semester A and Semester B

It is recommended that students complete the semesters sequentially.
