On-Demand Tutoring provides students the personalized assistance they need to succeed. Through direct engagement with a tutor, students can receive immediate, individualized help in essential subjects for middle and high school. This approach supports thorough comprehension of the course material, empowering students to progress confidently without encountering obstacles.
Students have access to On-Demand Tutoring during the following hours:
- Monday – Friday: 8 am – 10 pm ET
- Saturday: 9 am – 4 pm ET
- Sunday: 6 pm – 10 pm ET
Features
Tutors provide services in core subject areas, Spanish, and French. On-Demand tutoring includes chat communication, collaborative whiteboards, audio communication, chat history review, administrative analytics, and precise tutor-student matching.

Enabling and disabling the On-Demand Tutoring option
The On-Demand Tutoring course option defaults to On for schools that have the add-on feature. To disable the feature or to turn it back on once disabled, the steps for EdgeEX and heritage Edgenuity courses are different:
