Accessing locked articles in the Imagine Edgenuity Help Center (Authenticating)

The Help Center is a resource that provides how-to, best practice, and general information to our customers. While the majority of the content is open to anonymous users, we do have some pages limited to our product users only. This page shows how to unlock those pages by authenticating into the Help Center. Authentication unlocks all the articles you're licensed to view with no extra passwords or logins needed.

This action is good for 8 hours so it is encouraged to do this in the morning so you have access to all pages throughout the day.

 Notes

  • You may not realize content is missing; locked articles are hidden from navigation and search results if you are not authenticated.
  • If you are not authenticated, there is no warning; locked articles will simply not appear.
  • Be sure to authenticate every time you visit the Help Center or want to view Help Center content. Bookmarks and direct links to locked content will only work if you have authenticated first.
  • It doesn't matter if you log in through the Imagine Edgenuity login page or your district's single sign-on (SSO). You will always need to follow the authentication steps below for access to locked content.

Frequently asked questions

What should I do if I can't see certain Help Center articles?

Make sure you have followed all authentication steps below. If you still do not see the expected articles, check with your administrator to ensure your organization’s licensing is up to date.

Can I bookmark or share direct links to Help Center articles?

Yes, but you must be authenticated for the link or bookmark to work with locked articles; bookmarking alone is not sufficient.

Why am I being taken to an Okta login page?

If you are prompted to sign in to Okta after clicking a direct link or bookmark, this means you are not authenticated yet. Always authenticate through the steps below first, then open the article link or bookmark.

Accessing and authenticating into the Help Center

  1. Before the system can authenticate a user, an email address needs to be associated with the educator account. To add an email address, use the steps in Adding an email address to your educator account.
  2. Click your initials.

 Success

After successful authentication, you will see your name in the upper-right corner of the Help Center. This means you have access to all licensed articles and resources. The Help Center looks like it does for unauthenticated users, but behind the scenes, locked articles have unlocked.
