ClassMate is a powerful set of curriculum-informed AI tools. It helps teachers streamline planning, communication, and instruction tasks. ClassMate brings curriculum-informed AI to life by leveraging our high-quality instructional materials, learning science, and state-of-the-art pedagogy.
ClassMate is automatically toggled on for districts. If your district would like to disable ClassMate, the steps are below.
Locating ClassMate
- Look for the ClassMate icon in the bottom-right corner of the screen.
- Select the icon to open ClassMate and view the available tools.
Managing the ClassMate feature
ClassMate is automatically turned on for districts. To turn the ClassMate feature off for an entire district, district administrators can:
- Access the District Profile.
- On the Features tab, select ClassMate for Teachers.
- To disable ClassMate for the entire district, click the On/Off toggle.
- On the warning message that displays, click Disable.
Note
You can keep ClassMate on for the district but remove access from specific schools, if desired. Individual school settings are preserved until you change them. In other words, if you disable a school, then disable the entire district, then enable the district again, ClassMate remains disabled for the school.
- Click Edit Schools.
- Uncheck the schools that should not have access to ClassMate, and click Save.
