NCAA approval process

Imagine Edgenuity's NCAA-approved curriculum helps student athletes fit learning into their busy schedules. These courses support student success in sports without sacrificing their education in the classroom.

Submission requirements

The requirements depend on the path to instruction used:

Instructional Services District teachers

Schools implementing with Instructional Services do not need to submit anything.

Students add the school to their NCAA profiles and Imagine Learning submits the course documentation to the NCAA directly.

  • Traditional schools: Schools that use Imagine Edgenuity as one of their methods of instruction, but also use a more traditional face-to-face instruction, no longer need to submit a non-traditional course questionnaire. They must add the Edgenuity course titles to their course lists (unless they don't list Edgenuity courses with different transcript codes, in which case they need submit nothing at all).

  • Virtual and alternative schools: Schools using Imagine Edgenuity as their only curriculum must submit a full account review, which includes a core course evaluation. For the evaluation, they must submit a full package of curriculum materials, including the following for ELA 10, Geometry or Mathematics II, US History, Chemistry, and Spanish II:
