Frequently asked questions

When I undo a bypass on an activity, what happens to my student's course?
If the bypass was on an activity that wasn't previously submitted for a grade, your student is automatically sent back to the activity you removed the bypass from upon their next login. If your student is currently in the middle of an activity, upon submission, they are automatically directed back to the removed bypass activity. If the activity was previously scored, review the next FAQ.
If I bypassed an activity that was previously submitted by the student for a score, will my student be required to do it again?
No. In this case, the original score will now count towards your student's course grade, but the student will not be required to complete the activity again. If you want them to redo the activity, you need to reset the activity. This removes the original score and requires the student complete the activity again upon their next submission or login.
If I remove the bypass, what happens to any progress the student has made after the bypassed activity?
Any submitted or scored work remains as-is for your student. The only thing that will change is that the student will be directed back to the activity where you removed the bypass. They will need to complete that activity before returning to their current progress in the course.
