Turning On/Off Communication Options

Use this page to enable or disable chat and email features between educators and students.

 Permission

To enable or disable communication options you must have "School Profile: Limited Edit" permissions. Click here to validate this permission in District and School Settings.

  1. Under the Administration tab, select School Settings.

  2. If not already selected, choose the School Profile tab.

  3. Click Edit.

  4. Select or remove features.
    • Email- email communication within Edgenuity
    • Chat- chat communication within Edgenuity
    • Rich Text Editor- enables the formatting toolbar on eNotes, including the Equation Editor and writing assignments (selected by default).

  5. Click Save.
