 Caution

Imagine MyPath will be out of service as of September 1, 2025. Learn more at MyPath end-of-life recommendations.

Import of new Renaissance scores is no longer supported as of December 31, 2023. Although new scores will not populate, if you have existing scores, you can use them to assign ILPs.

Import of new NWEA scores is no longer supported as of September 1, 2024. Although new scores will not populate, if you have existing scores, you can use them to assign ILPs.

If a student is currently working on an ILP, they can continue working. If a student completes a learning path, we recommend the following:

An Individualized Learning Path (ILP) is a sequence of lessons that provide intervention, reinforcement, or enrichment for students in either reading or math.

Each ILP features direct instruction videos, interactive tasks, activities, and robust practice with immediate feedback. All mathematics paths further adapt instruction dynamically by allowing students to move past any content they have already mastered via pretesting at the lesson level. After a student has completed an ILP, the teacher can assign another ILP with complete flexibility.

The student is given five hours to finish the placement exam, and the teacher can review the responses (correct and incorrect) in the student's gradebook.

Frequently Asked Questions:

Does the MyPath program provide a diagnostic, scaled score, and a Grade Equivalent Score?

No. The Edgenuity Placement Test that goes with MyPath is only designed to place students into an appropriate ILP. It does not return a scaled score or a GLE.

Does MyPath give a Lexile level or a reading level once kids have taken the diagnostic?

No. Each ILP has an associated grade level, so you can extrapolate from that- but it is not a nationally normed test.

For valid and reliable indicators of Lexile and grade level, we recommend our assessment partner, NWEA MAP.

My client is asking about standards alignments for ILPs in myPath. Are those available in the LMS?

Yes! Educators can go to Courses > Standards Alignments and then use the Select By Series filter to show ILPs. The ILPs do not show up without the filter because the Standards Alignments page shows courses by default. ILPs are not considered "courses" in Edgenuity.
